Why Invest in Cartwheel?
Cartwheel Group identifies and develops critical mineral opportunities through systematic exploration and sustainable processing technologies. We combine proven mineral discovery expertise, exceptional geological positioning, and scalable processing advantages to address long-term supply challenges—unlocking value from exploration through to production in copper, gold, and strategic minerals.
Proven Geological Setting
World-Class Copper Province
Lake Gairdner sits at the heart of the Gawler Craton – one of the world’s premier IOCG provinces hosting Olympic Dam (10Bt+ resource) and Carrapateena (470Mt).
Our tenements surround a massive 15km x 27km volcanic caldera formed by the world’s largest acid rock eruption, creating the same geological conditions that generated neighboring Tier 1 deposits.
This is a proven mineral system with demonstrated billion-tonne potential.
Discovery Track Record
Proven Team, Repeatable Success
Led by Rudy Gomez (Fellow AusIMM), our team discovered Carrapateena in 2005 with just 2 drill holes – demonstrating exceptional geological understanding and exploration efficiency.
OZ Minerals developed it into an operating mine before BHP’s acquisition in 2023.
This validates our IOCG exploration methodology, which we’re now applying to multiple high-priority targets at Lake Gairdner.
Near-Term Catalysts
Active Drilling, High-Grade Results
Recent drilling has intersected 780m of continuous REE-critical metal mineralization from 200m depth, with exceptional grades in scandium, rubidium, neodymium, and potassium.
These are strategic minerals commanding premium pricing due to global supply constraints and energy transition demand.
Multiple drill programs planned through 2025-2026 will systematically test priority targets, with results expected to drive significant value inflection points.
Strategic Land Position
District-Scale Discovery Position
Cartwheel controls 8,000 km² of highly prospective ground across South Australia and Victoria – including 5,052 km² at Lake Gairdner where we’ve identified 16+ magnetic-gravity anomalies with similar signatures to pre-discovery Carrapateena.
This represents one of the largest consolidated REE-IOCG land packages in a Tier 1 jurisdiction, offering investors leveraged exposure to multiple discovery opportunities rather than single-asset risk.

The Olympic Dam Province
The Olympic Dam Province: A World-Class Copper District
South Australia’s Olympic Dam Province hosts some of the world’s largest copper-gold-uranium deposits. This exceptional region includes:
These deposits share common geological characteristics: deep crustal structures, magnetic anomalies, and extensive hydrothermal alteration systems. The province remains under-explored, with modern geophysical techniques continuing to reveal new opportunities.
Cartwheel’s Lake Gairdner tenements exhibit similar geological signatures to these world-class deposits, positioning the project within this proven copper district.
What We Do
World-Class
Exploration Expertise
PROJECT 1: Lake Gairdner
Our flagship IOCG target with 5,052 km² covering magnetic and gravity anomalies consistent with Olympic Dam-style mineralization.
PROJECT 2: Murtoa Gold
Historic high-grade gold district in western Victoria. Targeting the primary gold source at depth beneath eroded basalt dome structures. at depth beneath eroded basalt dome structures.
PROJECT 3: Cobalt Cove
Our flagship IOCG target with 5,052 km² covering magnetic and gravity anomalies consistent with Olympic Dam-style mineralization.
PROJECT 4: Carapateena
Major copper-gold-uranium-REE deposit discovered by Cartwheel in June 2005. Now an operating mine employing several hundred personnel.
